Steelers head coach Paul Thompson says that this week is simply “massive” for his side as they prepare for both an important league fixture and the Challenge Cup Final.
“From the moment we left Fife, obviously disappointed, we have been focussed on the whole week ahead. The game against Coventry and of course the final in Cardiff
“The team have again been been outstanding in their preparation, fully focussed and committed as always.
“Jerry and I have a lot of work to do this week, long days but we will make sure that we are as prepared as possible
“The medical team are working around the clock trying to get some bodies back into the line up. Both they and the injured players couldn’t be doing more to be ready for the weekend.
“It’s simply a massive week and weekend. You are involved in sport for times like this”
