Back to back defeats this weekend for the Steelers.
Following last nights home loss to Glasgow the Steelers travelled to Fife on Sunday but despite taking a 1-0 lead came away with a 4-1 defeat.
Steelers remained without Jordan Owens and Robert Dowd for the game.
After failing to score on the power-play on Saturday the Steelers struck with their first one man advantage of the game when Josh Pitt deflected home a blast from the point.
It was a lead the Steelers held until the 27th minute when Basaraba equalised.
Steelers failed to clear their zone in the 36th minute and the Flyers pounced with Bloodoff ending a tick tack toe move for a 2-1 score line.
Chances came the Steelers way in the 3rd period but if was the home team that extended their lead , as a powerplay expired Basaraba fired Fife’s 3rd goal past Jackson Whistle.
A 4th goal came in the final minute with Jackson pulled to the bench for the extra attacker.
Final score: Fife Flyers 4-1 Steelers.
