Fox Reunited with Sondre Olden for #2021EliteSeries

Another day and another new signing for the Steelers in their quest for the #2021EliteSeries.

Head coach Aaron Fox has added 28-year-old Norwegian international forward Sondre Olden to his roster. Olden is a man familiar to the Steelers boss as the two were previously together in Zargreb between 2017-19

Olden was drafted in the 3rd round (79th overall) by the Toronto Maple Leafs back in 2010, he played one year of junior in North American before then playing his career in Europe with time in the major leagues in Sweden, Austria and Norway.

“Sondre is a dynamic offensive player that is a game changer” said Aaron Fox.  He comes to Sheffield with a wealth of European and National Team experience and should fit nicely into our group.

“It will be good to work with him again, we were together in Zagreb and he was a top player for me and in our League.

“I’m excited to have him here for this series to show him what a great spot Sheffield is and hopefully help us achieve our goals in this series”.
