Mathieu Roy scored an empty net goal with just 9 seconds remaining to secure a 2-0 victory over The Steelers on Wednesday night.
Steelers went into the game with a much changed line up. Barry Brust started but Aaron Fox’s side were without Tanner Eberle, Keaton Ellerby and Vojtech Polak. Youngsters Cole Shudra and Alex Graham joined Tommaso Traversa on the roster.
Guillaume Gauthier scored the only goal of the first period, a Powerplay strike in the 12th minute
Both teams had chances in the remaining two periods with Sheffield creating some excellent scoring chances.
Steelers had three power-play chances but were unable to find away passed the impressive Starrett between the Clans pipes.
With just over a minute remaining Brust was pulled for the extra forward but it was the Clan that would add the final goal with former Steeler Mathieu Roy finding the empty net at 59.51

The Steelers will remain in Scotland overnight before making their way to Belfast for our final league game of the season against the Giants on Friday.
