Steelers want to go on record thanking Rok Stojanovic for his service with the club.
The Rok came into Sheffield on a two week try out contract at the start of last season, impressing so much that he remained with the club all year playing 35 games with a 92.5% saves average.
Head coach Aaron Fox paid tribute to The Rk saying “Rok came in and played some excellent Hockey for us.
“I had a conversation with his agent about bringing him back at a number we felt good about and he wanted to test the market.
In the end Rok found a deal for considerably more than we could pay. He definitely played better than I think anyone expected and used his season to earn a big raise.
“I’m happy for him. He’s a great person and teammate. wish him nothing but the best moving forward”.
