The biggest weekend of the year approaches
The Steelers will practise for the very last time in Sheffield today (Thursday) before heading down to Nottingham on Friday ahead of the weekends play off finals.
The team will hold their last on ice training session of the year at the Motorpoint Arena (Nottingham) on Friday lunchtime as preparations continue for the game against Guildford Flames open Saturday afternoon.
Almost 2,000 Steelers fans will help turn Nottingham Orange, the most fans the club has ever sent to the play off weekend with blocks 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 sold-out and further Steelers fans located in the blocks 18 and 19.
The club will take many new Orange flags down to Nottingham and these will be placed on many of the seats inside the Motorpoint Arena. Our intention is to turn Nottingham Orange.
