The Sheffield Steelers have completed their off ice staff for the up and coming 2019-20 EIHL season.
There are both some familiar and fresh faces joining the in coming new head coach Aaron Fox for his first year in charge of the club
Returnees include strength and conditioning coach Danny Mawer, physio Paul Teather, club Dr Gaw Davies and video / analytic coach Andy Thorpe.
Aaron Johnson joins Fox in a player assistant role. It will be Johnson’s second year with the club following a glittering NHL and DEL career to date.
“Aaron has been great to work alongside this summer” said Fox “he is very knowledgeable on the hockey side and I will give him some real responsibilities. The players gravitate to Aaron and I expect him to be a real addition to our staff”
Fox will also be re-uniting with a former member of his staff in Zagreb as Carter Beston-Will joins the team in an assistant role.
“Carter has been great to work with over the last two years. He works hard and will be a huge asset to me here as he knows how I operate and will really help in the day to day grind”.
