Dear Steelers supporters,
Especially those parents of our younger fans, please take the time to read this as we believe it to be most important.
Over the past few weeks the club has become aware of a WhatsApp Group aimed at our younger fans between 10 and 18 and this has given us cause for concern.
The club’s safeguarding officer has made the Police aware of this group, but we wish to advise all our fan base, especially parents of our younger fans that this group is not run by the club, any players, officials, or associated groups.
Should any supporters have safeguarding concerns then we suggest you make contact with SY Police.
