Stefan Della Rovere Completes the Steelers Roster .
Stefan Della Rovere is the final name to be confirmed on the club’s roster ahead of the 2018-19 EIHL season.
The experienced 28-year-old winger signs from German DEL 2 side Kassel Huskies where he was a team mate of Evan McGrath.
Della Rovere is no stranger to the Elite League where he played with the Braehead Clan in the back end of the 2016-17 season.

After a successful junior career with Barrie Colts (one as captain) that included playing for Team Canada in the World U20 Championships Della Rovere went on to play 7 games for St Louis Blues in 2011.
“We are excited to sign Stefan” said head coach Paul Thompson “we believe he can come in and play a power forward role for us, get on the body and create energy.
“Stefan didn’t have the best of years in Germany last year but I understand the reasons why, he is looking to bounce back and I believe he will create and score goals for us.
“I liked what he brought to Braehead when he joined them for the final part of the 16-17 season, he will bring a feisty edge to our play.
“There is a good balance to our team, I like our line up and can’t wait for us all to get together on the ice as soon as possible. It’s exciting to have 16 new players but we will have to find some chemistry quickly and use the four exhibition games coming up at Ice Sheffield to gel together”
