Head coach Aaron Fox today confirmed that team building, ahead of the new season was progressing nicely and that he hoped to be able to confirm some signings shortly.
“Things are happening as we have said before” confirmed Fox “I’d even say we are perhaps a little ahead of where I thought we would be at this time, remember we are three months away from game 1
“I’m confident the fans won’t have to wait much longer for some news, however I’m not in a rush to complete the roster quickly, these things take time”
In three months time the Steelers play their first of four exhibition games when they take on Nottingham Panthers on Saturday 9th September at the Arena. A week later Steelers host Cardiff Devils (Saturday 16th September)
