Round of 16 in the CHL at the Arena Tonight
The biggest game of ice hockey ever played at the Arena is this evening as the Steelers take on Berlin in the round of 16 in the Champions Hockey League.
Steelers collected 11 points, taking points in 5 of their 6 round robin games, surprising the rest of Europe and being the most talked about club in the opening weeks of the competition.
More fans watched the Steelers than any other club in the 6 games so far, we have averaged over 2000 fans more per game than the second most attended club venue.
9,000 for Tonight
We are confident over 9,000 fans will be in attendance tonight for the game against Berlin, with face off 7.00pm
Steelers will have a new face on the team with yesterday’s signing Maxim Golod making his debut.
Head coach Aaron Fox has injury doubts to Colton Saucerman, Patrick Watling and Brandon Whistle with game time decisions being made on the final line up.
Berlin also have a local Sheffield lad in their line, the game sees the return of former Steelers apprentice Liam Kirk.
